Interesting, I have a 7900xt and had no problem running the benchmark, even getting similar results to what it sounds like you got. The "gameplay" section did get a lot laggier, dropping to only about 60 fps, I assume because they poorly optimized the grass rendering.

Speaking of the grass, the pop in on it looked kinda not great IMO.

I tried it with protonge 9.something, their current latest, and it worked pretty well. 3080 so woth access tp dlss I had to change it to performance but with it the benchmark finished with excellent too.

Anyhow, saying that frames were a bit worse with a resolution higher than 1080p and frames higher than 60 makes me want to shot on your elitism a bit but I won't. <3

I couldn't even launch the game during the first beta, but managed to run it with the current benchmark. Managed to hit 45fps with FSR on, and 12fps with it off, but either way, the visual artifacts are so severe, that this is in no way playable on my system, sadly. This is all with Proton-GE 9.23 and a 1080ti

You need the bleeding-edge branch of Proton Experimental, it will stop locking up then.

I have a 4070, the beta is unplayably laggy on linux for me. What's your setup?

The benchmark runs great for me at least, aside from a tiny bit of geometry explosion at one segment.
