"pressed" women into being scientists. The Economist is showing their whole ass yet again

The economist: Women were pressed into becoming scientists

Actual Soviet women: have to hold them back with chains or else they'll shoot every damn nazi they can

"Snapped a pic cuz I thought I looked pretty cute after killing my 100th nazi"

I'm reminded of a scene I saw on youtube from an anime about a girl who picks up an assassin's gun from the table to attempt to shoot him with it (he was the main character and left the gun unloaded), and one of the comments I came across mocked the idea that such a woman would exist because John Wick can be real but no woman could do that, and like.....that literally happened with Zinaida Portnova.

Also soviet moms got paid for their labor around the house, I think? I at least know that got award(s) from the state for starting and maintaining families.

I distinctly remember a western german documentary about the GDR attacking the GDR about their misogyny on account of women got one day a month off for household dutys.

Which, you know, I see where it's coming from, but like at the same time women weren't allowed to work without their husbands permit in the west until '77.

And then you dive into the whole history about it and it was originally introduced by the Nazis (aryan woman working in defense only, later all aryan women), then got reintroduced in some western german states up until the '79 (women only), and in the GDR it went from for married women only, then for any woman with a child under 18 and then in '77 for every woman under 40 and single dads or sick wifes (as long as you were full time)

And then the after reunification it got axed entirely. The day, that is, not necessarily so much the expectation that women do all household chores.

Dirty godless communists: They even do conservatism better than actual conservatives.

This is almost too on the nose, it smells like a comrade infiltrated The Economist.

Maybe, maybe not. How many articles have we seen about this ethnic group or that who would appreciate this genocidal act or that, or even welcome invasions, against themselves. I would genuinely file these sentiments alongside "they will greet us as liberators".

They coerced so many people they had to have entrance exams to filter out the coercion.

My mother switched into a Physics program because the Math program was 100% women, while Physics was 50:50. I'm surprised they haven't' called this DEI yet.

Lenin-Economist-Quote.jpeg

I prefer Marx one, Lenin went a little too specific with "British millionaires", while Marx "organ of the aristocracy of finance" remains more relevant.

"Silly feminist SJWs, there IS no patriarchy."

Frames women becoming scientists as a problem to be solved.

I too was "coerced" into science. I feel so violated. /s
