as a federal contractor, our teams are also evaluating changes required following recent court decisions and executive orders on this topic.”

always the fucking money.

That's how you know our civilization won't make it. We're rapidly reaching a point where money being our primary motivator is not compatible with our survival. We will keep polluting and keep ignoring climate change because our worship of the dollar demands it.

We're literally doomed because we can't prioritize over money.

Guess they're hoping they'll be an exception to the contractor pay cutoff.

Trump's orders? Is Google saying that they're a fiefdom of Donald Trump? Is Google saying Donald Trump has authority over it?

They're worried about their government contracts.

Google - Do Evil.

The DEI order was for federal workers. Is google a federal employer? Answer is an emphatic no. They may have contracts, but that's entirely different than being a federal agency. None of this DEI crap has flowed down to us contractors.

Yes, it has.

Going forward, they are handing the contracts to the firms who don't need to be told the state of play.

This is what is called "prior consent." The companies who dont make these announcements are the ones who will be targeted.

This is chilling.

I am a federal contractor, I would know.

Edit: Here we go, it's finally been passed down to us via email.
