I've been using Mullvad Browser for a while with no settings modified as recommended. I now see that the Browser is available as a Firefox extension (although still in beta), something I'm interested in but have questions about.

I usually find Mullvad's blog posts very helpful, but I didn't find anything about the proper/recommended use for this extension.

Is the privacy protection of this extension on par with the Mullvad Browser?

Should I do a clean install of Firefox, not change any settings, and then install this extension?
