Miami is gonna need all the help it can get to dig itself out of the bottom of the league. Looking forward to some exciting matches.

This is an interesting little rebuild, hope it works out. Both Messi and Busquets are absolutely still elite and could imo play in Europe if they wanted to, but they are also specifically lacking a bit in physicality, and I always hear how physical the MLS is.

The other MLS teams (read the league) are funneling them money, or apple/adidas

Isn't there the DP rule though? They have 2 already not including Messi and Busquets...? Unless I'm reading things wrong

Yeah they do. Not sure how Miami will get around it but the league will probably just let them go through with these moves (as they think its good for their brand) or theyll give messi and busquets a lower salary on paper (a non DP salary) and pay them other ways such as ownership TV/kit sales money. Im not 100% sure this is what happens but this is my guess.

And yes the rules for MLS make no sense
