They done vanished in big cities forty years ago. Finding a bathrooms can be impossible depending on where you are. If your not a customer you might as well just save some time and shit and piss yourself.

I have seen so many videos of people begging to use the bathroom while employees or cops laugh at them soiling themselves. It is inhumane and degrading.

Even tough i'm not old and a man, a privilegied one, i'm horrified by the lacks of sanitation. Those public toilet are paid...either you must go in a coffee or restorant or you must find a hidden place.

The few public toilet available are also very dirty...i simply don't understand this lack of public service. Nor why some people threat them very badly...

@Snoopy @Doomsider

Is it true only in France or somewhere else as well?

In Spain, it is not that bad...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Dunno for other country but in france it is worrying and awful. That would be the main reason where i don't want to be a woman.

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

I have left France for so many reasons and this one only adds up to the list...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Well, i think associations and collectives are the best place to live in france because we listen to each other, there is lot solidarity. As the city faux-la-montagne, or collective habitation. It is also disconnected to society and offer us a fresh bowl of air.

With Macron, RN, climate change...i'm worried and i believe we will face soon a huge tidal wave even with a leftist governement.

I may be wrong, but the tiping point of this whole mess will be the lacks of water and ressources as metal becoming more and more expensive due to their scarcity. It has already started.

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

I know.

I left beginning of 2023 and felt that it was going to go very bad...

I feel though that yes you are right about scarcity but it is very much caused bc it is purposefully creating the rules for that to happen...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Maybe we should build a shelter together. At least we can have a peace of mind and enjoy our time. I would also invite the cute Owl. :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

I would love that.

For a while I got very interested in Permaculture.

I feel after my separation after my ex, and going to another town in France in Verdun during covid time, I got very tired...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

But you seems fun to live with ^^ i can easily imagine building a collective project with the owl. If not irl there is minetest :D

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

Well Idk about that 😁

I am a manifestor generator so I need both the collective as much as the me-time.

And I have to be careful not to go in the exyremes. Right now I isolated myself a bit too much...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Well, in a collective you can manage both, the time for yourself and the walk on the wild side.

Close and far away ! Just send some ropes and they will join ya !

Why do you fell isolated ? The area ?

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

Nice...

No, with the heat and watching my funding, I just stayed home. Going out of the flat was really hard with the hot air.

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (1 children)

Sadly the south of spain will become hotter years after years...the only way to decrease the temperature is to build a small pond surrounded by trees and covers walls with vegetables.

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

I know... basically applying permaculture principles.

To do that I will have to live away from the city and so I will need a car... 😔

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Or cover the building and street with some protection with your neighboors :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

But it can be a collective projet with neighboor and the mayor as shared garden. If everyone complain that the street it too hot, i see a common ground, a common goal where you connect connect each other and strive for a better environnement. :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago

@Snoopy

I could look into it...

Not now though. It is too hot.

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

But how ? Is there any clue ?

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

Any clue? No need. I just did not go out. I did begun to do yoga at first but then realized that it git my bidy even hotter. So I did only some study and work on myself...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Yep during summer, we take it slow. But you organize activities that attract people and also come for healing ? They probably feel good there :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

During summer, many people live...

I was talking about my own healing, but yes that would be the goal.

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Well in my ex-association we welcomed refugee or women that escaped some form of violence.

I wasn't part of it, in fact my past association was a platform for other project, association. An huge maelstrom of ideas, project.

And i noticed that being part of a collective, doing activities and having the responsabilities to manage some part of it helped everyone in the healing process. We used a lot tool for popular education, there were a horizontale governance.

The landscape also played a big role. We loved taking a break and watching the hill and its village, the milky way...

There were lot events from construction to music and people came.

So that's why i tought about that when you talked about your own healing and healing people. I feel similar vibe in you. :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

Beautiful Snoopy. 😍😍😍

Truth be told. That was my idea for a long time. But it never happened. For so many reasons. And Idk if I ever will do it. I am never going back to France... I just need to resolve a few things right now... I guess.

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

You can just come back in france in peaceful place for a short vacation, a week for example ? :)

For this project, they called 50 people, at the end only 4-8 stayed to build its core.

From what i know, that's lot hardship and some people left the boat. You car do it in a smaller scale, my old association was too big. ^^

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

The hardest is definitely the human side. Patrick and Brigitte Baronnet have worked since the 70s at creating something similar.
And they call that issue "le PFH" (le putain de facteur humain) 🤭

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Yeah, that PFH is probably the hardest to deal with in our lifetime. I recommend to go with IDF solution : the incredible dog friend.

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy
France is definitely not peaceful for me. Maybe the Auvergne is though or Brittany.

I still have my stuff in Nantes and I pay 54 every month to keep it there. I would need to fetch it at some stage. Although if I can ask for someone to do it for me it would be great...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Well so area in france are peaceful for me, in countryside at the top of a hill. But it's not the same mood, i'm guessing is nore open. :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

It's just that no matter where u live in France, u r still impacted by what the gvt is doing... bc of its centralisation model...

I lived in different place in France and I could feel impacted...

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago

I understand.

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

So you are also intuitive huh? 💖💖💖

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (1 children)

Maybe a little, but there is the background, the way we express ourselve...so given these data, i'm not sure if i'm an intuitive person or guessed it right. :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy

The vibe is very important for me.

I have developped an approach called Resonant feedback and one of my workshop is Draw your vibe...

Well, the great thing is that you are using both (data and intuition). That makes you very much holistic...

It is a beautiful strength.

@Snoopy
I have no xhoice but taking it slow.

I would like to run things online though... having a summer program so that people can do it and take care of themselves

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

That's good to take it slow. There is place as "retraite bouddhiste" where you learn to slow down and pay attention to your environnement and breath. :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

@Snoopy yes I know.

Have u been to the plum village created Thích Nhất Hạnh?

Never been there but heard a lot about it

[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

No, that the first time i heand about it. I'm afraid i will forget it, can you send a PM to snoopy@peculiar.florist :)

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago

@Snoopy

To give you the name? Okay...

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

A creative game where you can teach kids some math basic or communicate with big drawing and build some shelters, crops...quite fun but difficult to manage

[–] globcoco@mamot.fr 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] Snoopy@jlai.lu 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah it was a cool server but i wasn't able to keep up. :)
