The Hunt for Gollum
Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum was announced to be in development on May 9, 2024 with a planned release in 2026. The script is being developed by Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens and set to be directed by and star Andy Serkis.
After the success of the Gollum video game it's clear the people were clamoring for more of this little freak.

I hate that this seems to be the only place I can go to get my fill of JKR getting shit on. Most of my friends loved it growing up and will at most agree that she's an asshole, but then they lap up any and all of her media for them and their kids.

There was a really cool fan film some years ago called The Hunt for Gollum that was maybe 30 minutes and still a little over long, they're going to stretch the shit outta this, like butter scraped over too much bread 🙄
