This is the best summary I could come up with:

The news emerged at the Next on Netflix event at the Picturehouse Central cinema and cultural space in London on Thursday.

The preview event brought a slew of casting and content announcements and featured various Netflix executives and stars.

“Robert Daly is dead, but for the crew of the USS Callister, their problems are just beginning,” the global streamer said in a tease.

The frustrated Daly simulates a Star Trek–like space adventure within the game, using his co-workers’ DNA to create digital clones of them and leading them as the captain of the USS Callister starship.

But newly hired Nanette Cole, played by Cristin Milioti, ends up encouraging the other crew members to revolt against their captain.

The well-known episode was written by series creator Brooker and William Bridges and directed by Toby Haynes.

The original article contains 204 words, the summary contains 129 words. Saved 37%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!

Is USS Callister a spin-off series or episodes within the new season?
