He's awaiting trial in Romania. Just today it was announced that they are clear to proceed with the trial.

Romanian prison, ousted (at least partly) by Greta Thunberg after he tried to pick an internet fight with her. She then demolished him by telling him off because he didnt recycle his pizza boxes (reason he was busted, they figured out where he was).
