America is the most propagandized country on earth. And it's not close.
Def, much worse than North Korea.
I see where you are going with this I have a feeling North Koreans know that their news is 100% propaganda. Here people just wouldn't believe how corrupt the media is here (expect when Fox news grandpas call the media fake then binge watch more Fox branded media). They just don't expect it to be like this.
Yep, because their state media doesn't pretend to be independent. Sure they sling bigger lies, that doesn't mean more propagandized. In fact id argue it make it very easy to spot. Not like a supposed free market where journalists pretend to have integrity so long as the integrity doesn't contradict what the state department says.
Convincing argument.
You might want to rethink that one. The rest as well.
Whats more propagandized to you, one big lie or a hundred little ones? If you don't think anything of propaganda until it's "Biden was born without a butthole from a mama panda" then you're not exactly going to notice all the propaganda you consume.
An agent of the CIA and an agent of the KGB are having drinks at a bar. After getting a little bit more intoxicated than it would be wise for their positions, the agent of the CIA tells the other:
"Pal, as much as I hate to say it, I must admit that you guys at the USSR make some amazing propaganda about us! Everyone in Russia believes it!"
"Oh, friend, you have no shortage of talent yourselves! American propaganda is so effective that Americans themselves believe they have no propaganda!"
"But we have no propaganda."
Nuance is truly dead.
Not as dead as journalism is.
