I thought I was an Auth-Left, but turns out I'm a Lib Left? Am I allowed here in lemmygrad.ml? And what idealogical learning, unlearning and changes I should make to myself?

but still having some levels of mercy would make me a lib.

Castro talks about how vital it is to treat enemy fighters with kindness and respect, and release them back to the enemy side - even if they come back and fight again.

I think it's an acceptance of the enemy's framing to think that great Marxists were without mercy.

"At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality." - https://www.marxists.org/archive/guevara/1965/03/man-socialism.htm

I remember reading about how the Soviets used to set their enemies free, but realised that it didn't work and they had to be harsher against them. But I cannot find it. I cannot remember what book it was. If anybody has an idea do tell me.

And yes. It is driving me crazy.
