Henry Cavel stood under the BvS billboard in time square in a superman shirt and no one recognized him.
Well, it's also Manhattan where the only time that you make eye contact with someone is to silently negotiate where opposing foot traffic is going.
And, knowing it's New York, if I noticed him, I would have probably seen him and thought, "this guy looks like Henry Cavill and is trying to make a few bucks in Times Square with tourists" Which is kind of a thing in Times Square.
Definitely. I'd be like "look at this fucking guy and his Superman shirt..."
Also, you'd have to be pretty young to think Henry Cavill when you think of Superman instead of Christopher Reeve or even Dean Cain.
If he was alive and I saw Christopher Reeve standing next to a Superman sign, I'd be a hell of a lot more likely to recognize him.

My biggest gripe with the Clark Kent disguise is that I think it's truly impossible for someone who's confident and strong to pretend they aren't. They're in the wrong head space for making all of those signals.
Edit: that was supposed to be a gif saying "acting".....
But I'm betting Henry's girlfriend (if he has one) would have recognized him. Even if he wore glasses.
