Yeah this sounds more like a distraction so as not to spend a single dollar extra on real measures.

I didn’t read the article yet but these typically seem to be

  1. Use more dynamic red light patterns than a simple timer
  2. Model traffic flows and potential solutions

Neither of which are ai

I hope it tells them to reduce the number of cars and expand public transport programs.
