I might do my 1 year in Army early, thought about it and the pros (I shoot cool guns) outweighed the cons

In the past members of our party happily joined the army to do combat training that would be useful in case of revolution. You might learn something.

one of the reasons I'm doing it, I don't want to do whatever this guy is doing in this pic if the revolution comes

Do they let you fire a gun in Algeria? Over here I don't think so but they let you clear grass between tiles to at least be comfortable with the feeling of stabbing someone.

Yeah, in live ammo training sessions.

I’ve considered doing something like this too but the Canadian military is not worth it to me. I’m glad the Algerian one is, so good luck and I wish you the best! ❤️

which country, out of curiosity

[–] Aru@lemmygrad.ml 10 points 2 years ago (1 children)

the one in my username 🇩🇿, only combat I'll ever have (which is extremely rare) is killing ISIS member, rest of it just training and doing stuff like planting trees

that's really cool!

if u ever join, do not reveal that you are a leftist.

[–] Aru@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 2 years ago

Won't be an issue, I look through Algerian military forums and a lot of them are leftists, but only economically, I'm fucked if they find out I'm queer.
