I don't normally seed big media properties lest my ISP send letters telling me to stop. With all of the talk about South Park, I couldn't resist. I'm about to find out how diligent the copyright holders are. YOLO.

Not OP but where I live there is no point in a VPN. My ISP sends the letter once in a while, I ignore it, that's it.

No. There will not be. I live in Canada. I have received a dozen of those letters over the years. Nothing happens here beyond the letters.

Why insist on pushing/repeating VPN companies sales pitch? AFAIK the law here allows the copyright holders to ask ISPs to forward the letter, and no further. No, they cannot file a lawsuit against me because the law doesn't allow them to know who I am.

Worse, some people were fooled by those and paid money because they felt threatened by something worthless.

I will not pay to download torrents "anonymously" if I don't need to. As far as I am concerned, this is FUD.
