What did Froot do?
Not OP, but I personally found Froot to be kinda sketchy even just for that tweet about donating to a Trans Charity which she never ended up doing, at least to my knowledge.
Then there’s the cheating allegations but they’re, well, allegations so I wouldn’t judge her for that. The charity tweet was public though, there’s no doubt about it.
Wasn't the cheating thing likely a lie spread by her abusive ex?
Nobody will ever know, probably. They both claim things that I’m pretty sure could be legal ground for a lawsuit, but neither has filed one. To me, the situation smells like they both have a lot of shit on each other and would have much more to lose than to gain if everything came to light.
But then again, it’s just an opinion and we know nothing for sure about the whole situation. The charity thing is much more damning.
They both claim things, but one side (Froot) has put forward receipts after a long time of being harassed over it and the other one hasn't. This doesn't smell like a 'both sides' case to me.
Regarding the charity thing, indeed, but:
I do think it would've been better if she then picked a different charity, but she was already getting harassed for even donating to a transfocused charity to begin with.
Are the "receipts" the screenshots? Because it's still nothing that couldn't have been fabricated. And even if they were legitimate, I just find it so weird to me that she could sue him for all those sexual crimes PLUS online harassment and defamation and she... just hasn't. If the harassment has gotten to this point don't think there's any other reason not to do that except A) your claims aren't true or B) your claims are true but you know his ones are too.
And the most damning thing about the charity is that, to my knowledge, she never addressed it ever since. If the charity wasn't trustworthy, just say it. If it turned out to be way too much money, just say it. Not saying anything just means you wanted to look good without actually following through.
I don't think she deserves all the hate that she's getting, but I can understand why people would be turned off by her.
