desperately searching for "culturally sanctioned xenophobia" to indulge in. Their deepest desire is to use slurs and not be ostracized for it.
Now that I think about it I'm giving star wars fans who overuse "clankers" a side eye too, people who get really into using fantasy slurs are more than a little sus
This is from trueSTL which is basically the cumtown of the Elder Scrolls fandom. I don't even know if this being "satire" changes your point but I wanted to give some context.
