The way reality works is that you never get everything you want, and you often have to make the least bad choice available. Refusing to vote so you can maintain your own moral purity makes you the dumbass.

the lack of ability in recognizing that the least bad choice rationalization is that there are a significant number of people who consider trump to be said choice.
A candidates job is to prove they're said candidate and sadly supporting a genocide, actively suppressing minority groups within your campaign, ignoring/fucking over the working class, etc proves to many people that you're not the least bad choice on a ballot of 5.
next time dont play the 'best option we have' game because other people dont agree with your premise. make sure the option you put forward is the least bad.

How did refusing to enable genocide work out? Palestine doing okay now? How about the people getting deported from the US and/or thrown into cages? The way reality works is that Dems run bad candidates and lose to Trump, twice.
Saying Harris was a bad candidate or that the Dems ran a bad campaign is objectively bullshit. When election day came she was second only to Obama in her rise in popularity, and doing it in only a few months is objectively amazing. But Trump's win can't be the fault of people who refused to vote for her because they focused on the Israel/Gaza issue and ignored every other fucking issue, can it? Naw, you were just being ethically pure. And how'd that work out for Palestinians? Really swooped in and saved the day there! I'm sure all the people getting deported would also want to thank you for being so ethical. Way to go! So would everybody who's gonna die because they won't be able to pay for their meds.
