She. Did. Not. Ask. You. To. Fix. It. ๐Ÿ“ข

But thanks for the riddle, I liked it.

I get that response due to the way this quote may have been used on the internet, but to be fair, in the show she was absolutely implicitly asking him to fix it. She says this after seeing that Eric gave Donna his coat when she said she was cold, and was essentially testing him.

If your wife says "I'm cold" and you say or do nothing... that's good?

[โ€“] REDACTED@infosec.pub 8 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

No, ignoring her is bad, you should make it clear that you do not give a shit

"I'm cold"

"Go eat shit babe"

"Hhhunnngggg"

Got it: next time this happens to me reply "damn that's rough."

Then why is she communicating a problem if no action is required? Why even say anything?

[โ€“] dingus@lemmy.world 23 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Sometimes people want to verbalize how they think or feel. It's human nature.

I see, so it is simply that.

why are you communicating this question if it's got a trivial answer you're demonstrating by asking it? Why even say anything?
