Photo – Revolutionary forces led by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) have completely captured the Kantdaunt Police Station on the Pale-Ganggou Road in Pale Township, Sagaing Region, at 6:40 a.m. today (June 19), a PLA official confirmed to Mizzima.

This is interesting - the Chinese-backed People's Liberation Army is now operating in the heartland of Burma - in the upper Burma, the Sagaing region which was the epicenter of the recent earthquake. Since its launch PLA has been operating in mountainous regions of Southern Burma along the borders with Thailand and away from the territories where other Chinese-backed militias operate.
