Yes, there’s no central software involved. I am using an analog mixer as a DAC for recording with audacity, otherwise everything is coming from my synths directed by a midi sequencer.

Thanks for the background. I guess that's considered old school nowadays.

Incidentally I'm just listening to this old school synth band from Perth...

That's cool, band camp albums are fun to make but unless there's already a fanbase most people will only listen to the first half of the first song and skip the rest. I have a few things published on bandcamp but not much. I mostly just buy my friend's albums to support them.
