That's cool, band camp albums are fun to make but unless there's already a fanbase most people will only listen to the first half of the first song and skip the rest. I have a few things published on bandcamp but not much. I mostly just buy my friend's albums to support them.
Did you click on my audio only posts back when I made those? It seems like people only listen to music if it's on their Spotify playlist.
Yes, there's no central software involved. I am using an analog mixer as a DAC for recording with audacity, otherwise everything is coming from my synths directed by a midi sequencer. I make music with a DAW too, I just find that people like seeing the creation of music when it doesn't look like a spreadsheet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7thabykiQU
I'm leaning in the whole Techne philosophy of art by doing, if anything just to prove I'm not artifical AI.

In terms of audio production what you're looking for is a sampler. There's some inexpensive hardware samplers but even less cost apps.
If software doesn't fit your use case then you'll want to find one that supports 2 minute one shot samples.
A one shot is a sample that plays through until the end of the sample no matter what else is going on unless you hit stop.
so now i snooze whenever there's rhythmic clapping
i hope you pass on the music enjoyment legacy as your family did with you
For me the Moog Model 10 looks like something I'd never own but I'll always do a double take when I see one.
