Veterans, so I would assume a large portion need stuff like wheelchairs and expensive aids.

14k per person. Health insurance can be upwards of 1k a month, sadly, so this honestly doesn't seem far off.

I missed a zero and thought it was 142k at first. Even still, it feels like $100mil should help more people than that. Kinda wild how expensive healthcare is :(

Insurance isn’t health care. Government pays direct without (much) markup.

US healthcare is just that ridiculous :(
