Idk why people get obsessed with Rome, Egypt lasted way longer. I guess they didn't do as much fascist shit tho.
I'm sure there'd be a comparable number of "Egypt-o-boos" if its history had been as well documented and directly influential on the evolution of western society.
Egypt didn't do as much fascist shit?
My brother in Jupiter, the Pharaoh was a living god who controlled all land and most of the population's productive capacity, whilst engaging in imperialist wars oriented towards the subjugation of foreigners under the unitary system of totalitarian submission to the Pharaoh.
Not to mention that Ancient Egypt's many incarnations rose and fell with alarming regularity.
I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.
I get the impression that men in particular love Rome for the image of historical, European masculinity. Well, all the parts that reinforce modern views of masculinity while ignoring all the really gay aspects of that historic period.
I personally think these guys will go through the most extreme mental gymnastics to continue hating women in place of any deeper, more meaningful connection with other men that doesn't include violence in one form or another.
Which all seems to happily align with the building of a fascist ideology...
because Egypt was a bit dark and there was less butt sex
