does the rest of the world have the ability to recognize a (poorly executed) attempt at humor? One that in fact attempts to satirize the very imperial disregard for SI measurements that Americans are known for?

USAians are so funny on that xitter platform. Joking about deporting people, drowning the trans, and casually slipping in a joke about the inferior metric system. Just simply hilarious and so easy to tell apart. There's absolutely no reason anyone named Poe would come up with a law. Unthinkable.
