Most likely they're not a creep and are being perceived as one because of autism. If there were any neurological disorder to blame breaking social norms on it would be autism.
they always check up on me like “how are you doing?” and talk to me and say hi to my friend.
*gasp of horror*

Actually sounds like they were interested in your wellbeing and trying to be a good friend
