One of the most incredible moments I have experienced from any art form is approaching the Rio Bravo as you’re going into Mexico in Red Dead Redemption on the Ps3.
Does it compare to that scene?
I have a very similar experience with the end(ish) of RD1 when you've just been promised your freedom and you're racing back to the family you've only ever heard about all game, set to compass. red dead is the only video game where i have songs from it on my phones still to this day, and the only game that i think makes acceptable use of soundtrack songs with lyrics
The entire game is just nothing but amazingly scenic moments
RDR1 was already an atmospheric game but 2 is on another level
