Speaking of, former Hexbear darling Twitter screenshot originator professional hog groomer has been going on a pro-AI screed against the Nietzschean Slaver Artist Class
And retweeting literal Microsoft disinformation campaign bullshit lmao
I mean, their “analysis” has always been just arbitrary personal conjecture sprinkled with cherry-picked, contextless quotes from uncited articles, topped off with intellectual-sounding babble to bypass the reader’s critical thinking capabilities, but this just takes the cake.
It’s true, artists jealously guard the means of production for art, keeping the price of a pencil and piece of paper beyond the means of the common man.
there is a contradiction there. Before ai came along, there was rhetoric about how art takes intense training and skill and this is why being an artist should be a viable profession. Now, the position is that making art is actually universally accessible
yeah i can't make visual art for shit. certainly not any art that anyone else wants to look at nor anything i'd imagine myself making if i had the ability.
