The Nazi term Gleichschaltung (...), meaning "synchronization" or "bringing into line", was the process of Nazification by which Adolf Hitler - - leader of the Nazi Party in Germany - - established a system of totalitarian control and coordination over all aspects of German society "from the economy and trade associations to the media, culture and education".

You are very welcomed. My reward is in the satisfaction of preserving your voice, which I find very valuable, and in elevating the voice of the original poster of this entire post.

Now, about the removal of a comment thread : i believe it is not possible here in Lemmy. Nevertheless, since this thread is not upvoted and since your reposted comment is highly upvoted, we achieved the same result as if the thread was removed 👍 !
