Chronicle the life and tale of the fediverse (+ matrix)
Largely a sublemmy about capturing drama, from fediverse spanning drama to just lemmy drama.
Includes lore like how a instance got it's name, how an instance got defederated, how an admin got doxxed, fedihistory etc
(New) This sub's intentions is to an archive/newspaper, as in preferably don't get into fights with each other or the ppl featured in the drama

Okay whatever part of this reddit clone you operate then, the sub where you talked about being a mod was on there.
You literally made it your job to care about internet points and bans and shit for free. I happen to enjoy talking about federation software including ActivityPub as well as FOSS and its political side.
Internet moderators are universally understood to be the lowest humans on the chain of being, beneath even investment bankers.
It is a natural criticism of this software to point out the way people import antifeatures like voting from corporate social media, the cargo cult effect essentially, as well as the failure of FOSS projects to enable people to avoid advertisements or reactionary political propaganda. Lemmy still gives a bullhorn to the views of the ruling class because it is primarily frequented by middle class tech workers, who are the most heavily saturated by US/EU/SK/Aus/Japan propaganda, the papers associated with the leaders of the world financial system. This is a valid criticism of open source projects. Open platforms with zero protection like this practically criticize themselves. Mocking people who take these sites seriously is enjoyable for its own sake, to answer your question.
I read your entire comment, and I just realized that you're amazing at word vomit.
4.5 paragraphs to say "votes don't matter, except when they do, but I don't care, except when I do"
We get it. you're edgy. Good for you. Votes can be whatever you want them to be. Me? I look at mod logs. Why? That's where I see the bad shit someone did. You? You're meh. Not horrible, but not someone I'd have a drink with. More likely someone I'll forget in 2 minutes.
