I think people have a right to be perverted as long as everything is consensual and of legal age.
I understand the stereotype though.

Why? Arousal is a normal human emotion/state. I get the meme humor, but I think there is a bit of puritanism here.

It's not straightforward to map 2d anime girls to irl women but most female anime characters look too young. The one on the left I would say could be 20+ if we are being charitable but the one of the right seems like a schoolgirl.
Are you kidding me, I'd say the opposite, redhead usually looks older, black and white green-hair usually looks ridiculously young...

Same, the redhead looks older to me. But to me they both look well into their 20's.
They both look well into their 20's in my opinion. And while I'm not a hardcore anime fan, I think both of the anime women in the picture are actually in their 20's. I think the one on the right looks older to me, like a corporate lawyer type.
As I said, I'm aware of the anime/pedophile/discord mod/"she's actually 10 thousand years old" stereotype, but I think that the stereotype is very unfair and a "punching down" kind of humor.
I find that most of the people who state that anime fans are pedophiles/or perverted are just using a handful of examples to smear all of them as bad people, and most of the people who accuse anime fans of being pedophiles will "simp" (I hate that phrase, but it's a good catch-all term) over non-anime but still animated women that are on the younger side, more like they are mad that others state the quiet part out loud than people actually being perverts.
Like, 99 percent of anime watchers would be disgusted at shit like Boku no Pico. An extreme example, yes, but regardless.
