This is the place for discussing the potential collapse of modern civilization and the environment.
Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a ‘decline’ instead of collapse.

Pretty sure it's the cascading effects of global warming
I've seen less insects here in Canada as well, usually I would say hell yeah to less mosquitos and flies but even the dramatic drop of them has me concerned that we'll be seeing natual ecosystems collapse which makes me sad and anxious to be honest
Climate change is one contributing factor but air pollution and pesticide use has more of an impact. Bees get screwed for similar reasons with neonics
