Nooo you see Soviets made a strategic non-aggression pact with Nazis instead of immediately going to war with them, this means they were forever allies and basically Nazis themselves! Please ignore

  • 1933 - UK, France, Italy - the four powers pact
  • 1934 - Poland - Hitler - Pilsudski pact
  • 1935 - UK - Anglo-German Naval Agreement
  • 1936 - Japan - Anti-Comintern Pact
  • 1938 September - UK - German-British non aggression Pact
  • 1938 December - France - German-French non-aggression Pact

Noooo our wholesome American politicians didn't say the bad words that TV man said Putin said! This makes our mass murders of brown people fine!

Yes a comment there literally said that. It has 18 upvotes as of now.

Insulting the soldiers who lost their lives fighting Nazis on Victory Day. As you expect from reddit the comments are full of people cheering for them.

PSA: Wagner Group does not exist. They're a loose group of unrelated combatants that US thinks have relations with Russian government. There is no evidence that Dmitry Utkin is the head of Wagner. The only proof there is is a document acquired by BBC requesting equipment, which is signed by "D.U" which BBC claims "is believed" to be Dmitry Utkin. There is no evidence that Dmitry Utkin is a neo-Nazi. The article writes: (emphasis mine)

Mr Utkin, a former paratrooper in the Russian special forces, is reportedly the founder and overall commander of the Wagner group. He himself was formerly known as “Wagner” because of his alleged interest in Nazi Germany, which promoted the music of composer Richard Wagner.

There is no proof that the image of a man with Nazi tattoos is Dmitry Utkin. The image's original source is The Times, which claims the image is "purported to show Wagner’s leader Dmitry Utkin, a former Russian special forces commander".

So what do we have? An image of a man with Nazi tattoos, purported to be Dmitry Utkin, who is believed to be the head of Wagner group, which doesn't exist.

Libs claim this is the same level of a problem as the Azov Battalion, an explicit Nazi organization with explicit stated goal of establishing a fascist state in Ukraine, using explicit Nazi imagery, talking points, and politics, who are "training" child soldiers to ingrain fascist worldviews in them from an early age, who are officially and explicitly integrated into Ukraine's armed forces.

Also important to note two things, firstly many people who criticize Azov are not even in favor of Russian invasion, and even people who wholeheartedly agree with the invasion are not doing so out of a hatred for the Ukrainian people. They are not happy watching some random Ukrainian kid die. Meanwhile the Azov supporters use Wagner as a justification to make racial claims such as "The Russian people are predisposed to violence due to their eastern roots" and they do in fact advocate for collective punishment on Russians.

It's projection on every level.

Note that literally Times of Israel is acknowledging she was unarmed, but redditers have to make up reasons why this is ok and justified, and blaming it on the Palestinian, while simultaneously mocking her and calling her stupid.

This. This is not only about Russia, Imran Khan was standing up to America in general. America didn't like it.

Also worth noting is that the “Egypt agriculture degenerated” is a racist take

I'm confused, did you mean to insinuate that I made this claim? I just said Egyptian technology was very advanced during bronze age. I didn't say it "degenerated".

According to this article:

Egypt produces half of the 20 million tons of wheat that it consumes with irrigation and imports the other half.

Basically, Egypt's population has ballooned so much that the advances in farming technology has not been able to keep up with the food demand.

For reference, Egypt produces 9 million tons of wheat per year with a population of 102.3 million, while Ukraine produces 33 million tons with a population of 44.13 million.

For Egypt, the areas that can be used to produce wheat are the areas close to the Nile only, while Ukraine is full of rivers pretty much everywhere so almost the entirety of its land can be used to farm wheat.

Egypt during bronze age had pretty advanced farming technology for its time which allowed it to surpass other countries. Now that Ukraine is using the same tech Egypt is using, the difference is the amount of land that can sustain farming, which Ukraine has a lot more of.

ECS users mass report everyone who posts on GenZedong and brag about getting people banned. Posting on GenZedong is absolutely not safe, you've just been lucky.

I got permanently suspended for saying the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi. I even sent them an appeal and they rejected it without giving a reason. It seems from now on you're not allowed to be against Nazism on reddit.

[–] xxcvzvcxx@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 2 years ago

I mean there are more politically and morally realistic\complex works of fiction but they always compare it to simple "Good vs. Evil" ones. The problem isn't fiction, it's their worldview.

[–] xxcvzvcxx@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 2 years ago

I mean reddit has a rule that says specifically "vulnerable or marginalized groups" should not be aggressed upon but the rest are fine. So for instance they allow "reverse racism" or "racism against white people" if you believe in such things.

So this basically means reddit believes Nazis are a vulnerable or marginalized group that requires active protection.

In r/worldnews there are thousands of posts wishing deaths on entirety of Russians, and it's nothing new even there are constant calls to "nuke the whole country" whenever some country dares to stand up to United States, but saying Nazis dying is a good thing gets me banned for "promoting violence". I didn't even tell people to kill Nazis I just said if they die it is a good thing.

Reddit is in favor of fascism, and being against Nazism is against the rules there.
