Be sure to leave it open for a while so you can seed some.

You wanted to know how it's calculated.

That was the supposed amount of ETH that was stolen. 1 ETH is currently around $2800. The value it has is because people are buying ETH for that price. So you take $2800 and multiply it by 400000. Carry the 5, etc. That's $1 120 000 000.

There was some other stuff stolen too I think. I haven't really looked into it.

Well to be honest; the original hoster was amazing. But they got bought by a big hosting group and it turned to shit after that.

You don't really need an on/off switch.

By default you are not observing what slit it goes trough so you should always see the wave pattern.

Too bad they are extremely authoritarian.

I once received 1TB free 'lifetime' storage from a hoster. After gladly using it for 5 years, I suddenly had to start paying €5 per month because "they could not maintain the operating costs".

Do I understand this correctly, then, that this was some sort of MITM attack where valid requests to the multisig parties were replaced by malicious code while still appearing to be valid to the signers? That must be an inside job.

I have no idea. I guess they'll release a lot more info regarding this in the next few days.

And this is the first time I have heard the word “musked” in this context…

I think his English isn't good looking at the rest of the message. Might be "masked" instead.

Flame modifies the Dungeon Keeper 2 code to fix the bugs found in both single and multiplayer. It works with the Disk, Steam and GOG versions of the game. It is similar to how KeeperFX decompiled and rewrote the original Dungeon Keeper code to add fixes and new features.

The installation instructions are on the page.

The night is dark and full of terrors. One of them being a new version of the best mod of the entire website: KeeperFX 1.2.0

When installing KeeperFX, do not overwrite any previous versions. Saved games cannot be migrated. There is a wiki that has all the information you will ever need, but the more popular option is asking the friendly people of our discord server.

What’s new in KeeperFX 1.2.0:

  • Multiple different hero (roaming) players on a map
  • Up to 1000 units per map
  • Legacy rule set matches original game better
  • Midas Door
  • Different notifications for paydays, alarm traps and heart being attacked
  • Moon level appears when it actually is a full moon
  • Removed 'counts' from several config files
  • Many new possibilities for mapmakers to make more advanced maps
  • And much, much more.

GPT summarize:

Mozilla's latest update on Privacy-Preserving Attribution (PPA) discusses its testing phase in Firefox, focusing on privacy in digital advertising. The prototype allows aggregated ad measurement without revealing individual user data, using cryptographic techniques and partnerships with entities like ISRG and Fastly. PPA aligns with privacy laws like GDPR and is being tested in controlled environments, such as ads for Mozilla VPN on the Mozilla Developer Network (MDN). Mozilla aims to refine PPA through feedback and expand testing while ensuring transparency and collaboration.

In my quest to get this community going, I'm reposting a few older things. This is the group stage of the official KeeperFX tournament we held in EUW last year. These videos have commentary by Dofi, a beloved streamer in the community, and are edited by Spatulade, who deserves a big kiss for the amazing editing, trailer and intro.

I'll post the main stage later. I'm choosing Odysee for this because Google stinks.

To get the DK community a bit going on Lemmy I'm reposting the news article from May when KeeperFX 1.1.0 was released.

I suggest everybody who wants to give DK a try to have a look at KeeperFX. It's an opensource remake with many many improvements and fixes and it contains the original campaign as well.

Notes

The mobile game called Dungeon Keeper has been kept from this list as it has been removed from the mobile app stores and is not available anymore. It was a freemium tower-defense game. Even if it was still available it would not be playable anymore because it relied on the servers of EA and those have been shut down as well.
