Eens! Ik ga deze keer ook op een gevestigde partij stemmen, want er komt best veel bij kijken om in de politiek te zitten. Je hebt echt voldoende hulp nodig om dossierkennis op te bouwen zodat je zinvol kan bijdragen ipv snel een kekke leus schreeuwen voor een tiktok filmpje. Verhogen van het aantal zetels zou een goede oplossing zijn.

Pfff, gaat allemaal veel langzamer dan de bedoeling was, en we bezitten echt een schrikbarende hoeveelheid spullen. Maarja, we houden van lezen en platen verzamelen... De zwaarste dingen om te verhuizen :( Hebben jullie de vrijdag gehaald?

Vloer is inmiddels gestort in ons nieuwe huis, dus weer verder met de verhuizing! Hopelijk krijgen we vandaag de schuur leeg...

Oef... Ik heb een tijdje een relatie gehad met iemand met gescheiden ouders, die van mij zijn ook gescheiden. Dan heb je inderdaad 4 kerstdagen, en met je verjaardag willen ze allemaal niet in een kamer zitten. Ik heb met mijn verjaadag gezegd dat ik daar niet aan mee doe, ik organiseer 1 verjaardag en dan gaan ze daar maar met de kiezen op elkaar op de bank zitten, ze zijn allemaal volwassenen tenslotte dus ze doen het er maar mee.

Leuk idee Ted! :) Na een vrij waardeloze week heb ik vandaag weer een werkende auto, dus kan ik morgen naar mijn man rijden die aan het klussen is in ons nieuwe huis. We moeten een heel stuk van de vloer uitgraven omdat er nieuw beton gestort wordt... Maandag moet het klaar zijn, dus we moeten nog een paar dagen heel hard buffelen. Mijn man en onze vaders zijn helden en hebben al een heleboel werk verzet gelukkig!

If you check https://hexbear.net/instances you can see feddit.nl in the list, I'm not subscribed to any of their communities so I haven't noticed whether their content shows up, but I see reactions in the comments by hexbear users sometimes.

First off, thanks admins for dealing with the shitshow that is 'people on the internet' so that we can have some fun entertainment and discussions <3

Since we are a small instance that is Dutch-focused I feel we should put our efforts towards making our main community !thenetherlands@feddit.nl more active instead of splitting the content to several communities like !nieuws@feddit.nl Maybe a weekly recurring thread like the maandag klaagdraad they do over on /r/thenetherlands, or something like 'what have you been up to this week?' for some more casual chatting.

I also see a lemmy.world admin has been added to the team, welcome @clueless_stoner :) I'm curious about the collaboration between feddit.nl and lemmy.world, are both intended to be ran similarly? The biggest difference I noticed is that we on feddit.nl are federated with hexbear, while lemmy.world isn't, is that expected to change? How are things like future defederations handled, I can imagine that for some malicious instance you will just have to act quickly to block it, but for other instances where there is less time pressure I would appreciate it if the admins make the users part of the discussion and decision making process.

Thanks! Freamon suggested the same problem and the same fix. For me it doesn't solve the issue of the thumbnails not loading, but at least I'm able to see the images when I click to open them in a new window. I will just switch browsers from Brave to Firefox, because when using Firefox I don't have this issue...

Ah sorry, I tried to be as complete as possible but I forgot to include a screenshot of what I actually deleted! I cleared browsing history, cookies and other site data, cached images and files, and set the time range to 'all time' to hopefully nuke everything. It still looks just as messed up sadly... I was going to ditch Brave after the adblocking stops working, but I'll just switch back to Firefox now I think. I've noticed Brave has issues with other websites as well, like loading the page but not loading the scrollbar. Your explanation helps me understand the problem a bit better though, thanks!
