Because the old Reddit site isn't bogged down with useless avatars, NFTs, and 10 GB of JavaScript.

Fedora with Gnome on my Framework laptop. Before that it was Mac OS X/macOS on a MacBook Pro. And before that a variety of shitty Windows versions on equally shitty equipment.

It's been a bit of a learning curve, but so far I like it. I'm honestly hoping for a Lemmy Enhancement Suite that adds features like infinite scrolling and automatically opening links in new tabs.

Not that I was a prolific poster on Reddit, but I've been making a conscious effort to use Lemmy more than Reddit. Hopefully by the time Reddit finally shits the bed for good, I'll be off of it.
