Out of the systems I've actually played, I'll always love Lancer. I usually play young characters inspired by whatever I'm really into at the moment (for example, my latest Lancer is somewhat of an expy of Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion).

I heard DW is getting a second edition. Now that I think about it, I don't think post-apocalyptic TTRPGs are very popular in general.

I did actually work on a PbtA magical girl game at one point (with a Cthulhu Mythos setting, but still), though I later ended up scrapping it.

... I mean, that is one of the themes of VtM.

Try Cities Without Number! It's also an OSR game, and is more well-suited for the Sixth World setting.
