No I had to start from scratch sort of. PinchFlat lets you choose a start date for downloading newer videos.

I decided to age out of my old TA library and keep the ones I wanted. Not perfect but it was an okay trade off to get away from TA’s naming system

I changed over to PinchFlat instead for Tube Archivist for these reasons. It’s even easier to setup than TA. I have mine hooked up to store the files on an SMB share that JellyFin can read. https://github.com/kieraneglin/pinchflat

We ran OpenSolaris as our NFS server for several years on ASUS Xeon servers. zfs was a big part of that. Ilumos is still alive and keeping the OpenSolaris world going in a small way.

EasyDNS. They are on or the largest independent registrars and DNS providers. When you call or make a ticket, you get competent engineering support. They also work with Let’s encrypt via DNS rest api as well.

One thing I have been told by family who took several attempts to adopt hearing aids is to start at a low volume level. In addition, it takes several attempts to set the “levels” to what sounds right for a user. Most newer ones have an app that allows you to customize it yourself. Otherwise a good technician should be able to help tweak it.

It is a big change that is not easy to accept or get used for many people. I have had several people I know of the try, use, return cycle 2-3 times. Hope that helps.
