The reason I was asking for a community with listings for mod positions was so I can look through and see what I actually want to moderate.

I can see I wasnt clear in my post and im sorry for the confusion this caused. No where in this post I said I would mod anything I could find to be a power mod. I asked for a community that provides those listings. The part about modding anything came from you.

I am trying to do my part of posting but have heard of bigger communities having issues dealing with the influx of new users and want to contribute.

I dont feel that way, the nature of my post was to help with the new influx of users, not mod because I have nothing bettee to do but to help contribute to Lemmy.

Well hey, it was going to perish either way.

Makes me think of the mass migration from Digg to Reddit, same for 9gag. I have a lot of hope for the Fediverse though.

Make tea, smoke some pot, listen to music and jump between Lemmy and a book.

Even as the target demographic for TikTok, I still hate it. Though I was only 10 when Vine was a thing I still liked it much better, didn't feel as synthetic as it is now.

Yes, I secretly love watching reddit burn, especially after all the time I put into it. I used to moderate years ago, I would hate to be a mod today, definitely a labor of love though.

One thing I love about the fediverse is I dont have to give a fuck about karma

For those wondering, I looked through most of the comments. They are literally all making fun of OP, no actual legal advice.

Don’t forget your local library has CDs you can rip! I have just recently been rebuilding my itunes library with CDs.

They actually introduced Crossfade in IOS 17, still amazed it took this long and the feature already being available on android. I’ve learned that I really have to train the algorithm by using the love and suggest less buttons. Apple knows how to build a good product but struggles to keep up.
