I got tired of feeding a machine that treated me like it owned my interactions.

Well, at least 49.8% of us that voted anyway.

A. There was zero infantalizing going on here, not sure you understand what that means because it doesn't apply to the statement you are responding to.

B. Maybe you mean that the poster should give more credit to women and not assume they will all be victims to an older male.

C. Him manipulating her is not the issue. The assumption is she is looking for a meal ticket. He is more at risk to being manipulated than she is.

D. Pretty sure the poster was making a joke anyway, since it would mean if they were 30, they would only date someone who was 67 or older.

Well, when Trump makes it worse by trying to kick the Palestinians out and take over the Gaza strip himself, you can stay at home and feel smug about keeping a woman out of the oval office.

In fact, he wants to take over Gaza and kick ALL the Palestinians out. And people STILL make the argument that a vote NOT for Kamala was somehow opposing genocide. It was never on referendum, for any of the candidates.

Wait, so how is letting Trump get elected a win for those who oppose genocide?

I never heard of it before and while I did not immediately fully understand it, I did understand and empathize with its point. I guess what I am saying is this is an anecdotal story that supports your argument.

I don't hate the idea of stocks. You invest in a company that needs capital. You own a little piece and get a dividend based of the profits those companies make.

Its the constant growth model, where the value of the stocks have to constantly grow, the "If you are not growing, you are dying mentality." where the growth of stocks became the value and not the reliability of the dividends they provide.

Is this being posted because of the Microsoft deal?

[–] sartalon 12 points 11 months ago

Maybe the construction requires the clearing out of old buildings/material and they are not properly disposing of the old materials? I can totally see a shitty contractor doing this. Still Microsoft's responsibility.
