it's taken me a while to finally catch on to it, but I asked several mods in different subs and this is what they told me.

what I couldn't get a clear answer on is why. one said it's triggered by a negative karma score on that sub, but others denied that. all I could figure out was that it almost always happens when I use profanity or make jokes about suicide. I've seen it happen to other people though but not for either of those two behaviors
