I've tried so many different search engines over the last year to try getting rid of Google and ecosia seems pretty good, also I still use yandex pretty often

It's strange experience being so used to algorithm fed social media and coming back here.
Libraries should be quiet but I strongly disagree that they shouldn't cater for kids, libraries are great for kids I take my toddler to our library fairly often and she's learn to love books because of it.
The situation is just a shitty parent not an issue with libraries catering for kids.

The onboarding for Masterson is the best of all the fediverse sites but I still think the average internet user would get confused.
But hosting your own email is a huge pain in the ass and not worth the time or effort. I would rather spend a few extra euros to save hours of my life trying to get it to work.
