In Polish it would be "na Małysza". Małysz is a famous Polish ski jumper.

I am against defederations being decided by instance admins. Lemmy needs (kbin being more mature project at least has domain blocking) tools to let users decide themselves what they want or don't want to see. Are you an adult or you need others to decide for you? I have blocked lemmygrad and other tankie/nazi (same shit) instances (domains) myself. If I don't want to see eg. transgender stuff then I don't cry about it but just block it. Grow a pair and do the same.

I don't really get what protesters wants to achieve now but only a moron would go back even if they announced that there won't be any API changes knowing what CEO of that shit company thinks about them. Stockholm syndrome is strong in these people.

I doubt other rich read such things anyway. They already heard it, probably giggled that he really was that stupid and moved on.

Wanted to be remembered as an innovator but will be remembered as an idiot.

Yeah. People lying about racism towards them (or as they called it "mishearing") can ruin other people's lives. Getting deprived of Amazon services for one week could be considered being lucky if we think about what happens to some people after such false accusations.

At this point everyone knows this man was incompetent in every aspect. Do we really need to read about it once again? People died, that's sad but they were fully aware of the risks. Let's move on.

No one will force them to do so just like no one will force Germany to pay the reparations to Poland. These demands although rightful are used mostly as a political tool. While for Ukraine such stance is beneficial because it could lead to changes in laws in various countries and seizing russian assets around the civilized parts of the world that would actually at least partially pay for the destruction, then for Poland it's a tool to gain leverage over Germany and become even more relevant in Europe. Recently I stumbled upon pretty nice read about the latter.
