My point is that we shouldn't even entertain the question in the first place. It doesn't matter if it's natural or not. If it was unnatural, it wouldn't make it any less moral or okay.

WOAH! Allies?! ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING OTHER THAN JUST VAGUELY TWEETING THEIR SUPPORT FOR ONCE?! Well, I'll be damned.

Ok, so, me being a shithead aside, this is very cool and I'm very thankful. For real. <3

This guy clearly hasn't been paying attention to anything that's happening, did he? The idea that if we paid for the platform, the platform wouldn't have any incentive to glue us to it and to try and make us addicted to it is ridiculous. Of course they would do it. Because they would want to make sure you get that dopamine hit. To make sure you keep paying.

And it would just be like the streaming services wars. Eventually, the user base will stabilize, and then companies won't get the growth they look for, so they will start fucking over their users because that's what always happens. They will introduce tiers, and what used to be just one tiers will become two or three, and one will be ad supported, and basic features will be stripped away from the main tiers.... we know how this goes.

And to me the worst part is, social media, whether we want it or not, has become a very important part of our lives. And for all of it's wrong, it also has some very strong positives, notably helping people find community and express themselves. And you, Andrew, want to paywall all of this, make it accessible by a privileged few... The result would be an internet that's even more white, even more straight, even more cis...

Fuck that. The solution is to not let these spaces in the hands of corporations. These spaces should be owned by the people who live on it. Not some executives asshole trying to squeeze every penny out of them.

The problem is capitalism. Maybe it's time we stop putting band-aids fix on every problem it causes. We've tried to fix it time and time again. Maybe it's time to root out the problem.

It's cute and all but... I really hate that arguement. If it wasn't natural, it wouldn't make it any less moral. We don't need to play by their rhetorical rules. I know that this is just a cute thing, but I see this kind of things all the time and I feel quite strongly about it. So what if I wasn't born this way? So what if it's not natural? Does it somehow make things worse? Or is just an excuse to justify hatred of something that just grosses the 'phobes out?... y'know?

This experience is kind of a rite of passage in growing up, honestly.

I mean, hey, good for them. That being said, I still think EA is smoking some mad cope if they're actually expecting one hundred fucking millions players.

I wish it was bigger, I wish the icons had some text right next to them to make it easier to tap on, and also, if we're going with the expansion style like it is right now instead of a more like bubble menu I guess, I wish there was an option to put the text on the right.

Oh no, that actually makes me sad. I love Microsoft Lens. I install it on my device and I just revoke its network access, so that way it can't connect to the internet. And it just works flawlessly. It's amazing. God, I hate this. We can't have anything nice.

I have honestly completely given up on streaming all together. It's such a hassle. And looking for the thing that you want to watch always ends up the same way. It's on another service that you've never heard of before and don't pay for.

I watch the stuff I want to watch through other means. I don't have enough money to give 15 bucks a month to every asshole who has enough money to hoard movies and TV shows rights.

When I finally accepted myself as a trans woman, I've had to face and encounter many new fears, some I were expecting... never thought I'd develop such an intense fears of ending up in prison though that I'd be having waking nightmares about it. I'd rather die than being forced to detransition and I'd say that it speaks volume about the way I, a transfeminine girl, would be treated in a men's prison that this isn't even the worst scenario I can think of while having it be plausible and grounded in the reality of other's experiences.
