At work, you're better off being a procrastinator or just generally slow. If you're fast and reactive, you'll be called lazy when you're sitting there with nothing left to do ๐ค

Too broke to boycott. So I boycott everything, every day. Is it working yet?
Best use of that meme format I've ever seen. First time seeing it here. Gave me a good hearty laugh. Thanks for sharing.

Lockpicking is not a crime!
Chainmail. Serves as a faraday cage. Also defends against physical attacks.
I worked in a Costa del Mar warehouse once. The generic shades were $20, and right next to the brand name shades ($200). The brand name might have had some invisible enhancement, but they looked exactly the same to me besides the logo embossed into them. Both were polarized and mirrored exactly the same way.
What I'm saying is this: buy cheap generic ones. If you must have that logo, glue one on or something. I don't understand brand worship.
As someone with a lot of experienced interacting with the alt-right IRL (at work ๐) I gotta say, this is very accurate. Their methodology has become transparent to me, but I can't get others to see it as it happens. When I argue with them in front of a centrist, I am painted as unreasonable for taking them seriously (1), for always defending my points while they speak lies with confidence (2), for believing the crazy shit the other guy says I believe (3), and for being just as bad as them (4).
It's absolutely infuriating that these tactics work so well.
She might get mad if you tell her this, but maybe you want some time to yourself. It's what I usually want on my birthday.
I don't care what that guy says, I want to see her work. Where's the seminar? Where's the information about our rights? This is distraction.

(Apologies for the link to a proprietary walled-garden social network. It was too much work to transfer just the information)
There are some working on making open source processors. These being fabricated in a similar way to modern silicon dies.
But also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eo8l7HP-9U
You can make your own processor, it might just be a little (!) less powerful than what you're used to.
I know the point is PRIVACY, but I believe if we put effort toward it, these obstacles can be overcome. Then we can move closer to full privacy on our computers/phones.
