I'm a big fan of Ground News for general news. Their whole goal is to make the bias of the various news sources more transparent to you the reader.

RedReader is one project that has an accessibility exception due to it being very friendly to screen readers and expressly non-commercial.

Looks like the devs don't actively maintain the docker image, per this GitHub issue. I found some people saying they are building it locally and some people saying they are using this unofficial repo.
