Nice! I use the air fryer on the Tyson ones longer than recommended for the same reason haha. Keeps them crispy enough to chop up and toss in a salad.

Looks great! Did you do the chicken crust/frying yourself?

It depends if it's a voltage that's triggering the speaker via a circuit on that IC, or if it ends up powering the speaker directly, and I'd bet the former. Putting a resistor in series with one of the speaker leads is more likely to achieve what you're hoping for (without knowing more about the circuit).

Do voices and the buzzer sound come out of the same speaker shown in the picture, or is there a separate little "buzzer" speaker in there?

I'm going to travel internationally for the first time thanks to a work trip. Stressed but excited!

Anybody have any "must-sees" in Taipei?

In the house or somewhere else?

I think the intent is to make people aware that someone can externally be happy/successful/etc but still be in a very bad place internally. People who have or do deal with depression and related conditions probably think this is so obvious it's not worth pointing out, but I think a lot of them would be surprised how often the average person takes someone's externalized condition and assumes it's their entire experience.

I have no idea if posts like this picture do anything to actually inform people (and I'd bet not), but I guess I get what they're going for.

I don't have a ton of experience but I've kept Nepenthes pitchers before - the ones I've kept are pretty particular to humidity staying up and not getting dry soil. A lot of carnivorous plants also need distilled (or similar) water to stay happy.

That being said, there's lots of carnivorous species that aren't tropical or picky! Check out some Saracanea pitcher species if the tropical ones are too much to deal with

He looks like a very sweet boy 🥰

Still a lot to do and fill out. All surfaces are sealed a long time ago and should be reptile safe. Cat palm is reptile safe from what I’ve seen.

4 nozzle MistKing sprayer setup for humidity, heat+uva/b provided by multiple bulbs. R.O. water provided in basin and spraying.

Always open to more advice for husbandry! His name is Julian and he gets a large variety of veggies minimizing oxalates

Just put this out with my band and would love some feedback. Quite proud of how it turned out, but always looking to improve. Thanks for listening!

She’s from a shelter so we don’t know exactly what mix of breeds she is, but she’s very large and has a lot of loose skin like a lot of breeds bred for their coats. She’s 6 going on 7 years old!

We had Luca for less than 24 hours at this point, but he was obviously already making a big impression on us

Our happy shiba just turned three years old and we love him to bits. He’s eyeing a (dog safe) sandwich just out of frame we made as a birthday feast 🥰
