When you're young you want to rebel against the establishment. They are being told the establishment wants rights for women and gays and men's rights are being taken away. So they are going the opposite direction to be contrarian. Unfortunately young men at that age have very little empathy for anyone else. They have to know what's in it for them.

He thinks you need more fiber.

I don't know about that. there has been a huge slew of foreigners coming in and buying up all their affordable land and housing to make AirBnBs. if that were happening in my area I'd hate foreigners too. especially because most are likely not making any effort to fit in with the community and are just creating wealthy expat enclaves taking advantage of the low yen value.

also if comparing xenophobia have you seen -gestures to the rest of the entire world-

Climbing carabiners look nothing like the cheap carabiners so I don't think someone who climbs accidentally mixing them up would be possible.

Block what you don't want to see. I block all the straight porn on here that somehow makes it into All. And yes Lemmy has a large amount of lgbt users.

Also it is pride season so you'll see more queer stuff than normal.

Maybe next time and everytime go out and vote blue so they have even a chance of doing something to stop it.

Elections have consequences.

Dumb. A better acronym is RATT: "Republican Ass-Tonguing Trump".

What if Scalia was the one holding Thomas back and Clarence was the one who shot Scalia with the ice bullet containing the heart attack serum that killed him?

Even if that were the case what makes you think they are any more aware now? Their team has won and they are probably mostly unaffected by his policies or if they are they will use mental gymnastics to blame their problems on Democrats and immigrants.

I've tried communicating with Trump supporters. Hell most of my family are them. I'm the only brown gay person in my family (apart from my mom who is a brown immigrant -- and even she is a Trump supporter). I've communicated the harm his policies do. They don't care. They think his policies are good. I'd posit they know the harm they are doing and they like it.

I was permabanned a while ago due to support of my boy Luigi for "inciting violence".

Whatever. I tried getting around it the traditional ways (making new accounts with temporary emails, using VPNs) but was having no luck. They had beefed up the way they do permabans.

My question is: has anyone found a way to get around a permaban on reddit that works in 2025 without being silently banned? I'd need specific details. I'm hoping to access on iOS also but if it needs to be on PC that's fine too.

I'm not going to appeal my ban since I don't believe I did anything wrong but I do want to stick it to them by getting around their ban. Besides there are some communities I need to be able to ask questions in.

I'm trying to get advice from a professional for my personal tax/investment situation since I probably complicated things. I don't know where to start. I've always just googled things and kinda went with it but things got really complicated and I didn't know who to go to for help. How do you guys get finance advice? Do you go to a bank branch or someone else? Is there a good way to get personalized advice without being charged out the wazoo for it?
