It is a good general threat for when you're not sure what you're up to yet.
Not the first commenter, but yes. If I look away after looking at a dark/black theme post I see the text in my vision. It feels straining to read like that for prolonged periods of time.
Same here. Black text on white background is the best for reading. The only downside is how goddamn bright it is at night in bed. But I should probably sleep at those hours anyway.

Light mode is much more comfortable to read to me. I hate it when apps force dark mode.

I got my first smartphone in 2011 just before finishing my Bachelor's. Right now I am doing a post-secondary study now and I realize how fucked I would be if I was 15 years younger. There is so much less interaction and a multitude more distractions.

German Autobahn exits and entrees are crazy. I had the same experience and I was used to Dutch roads. In Germany they expect you to accelerate to 130 km/h in 50 meters or something.
I have been binging Criminal Minds and there they seem very reasonable. Quite entertaining propaganda.
