So what about statistics from the Center of Homeland Defense and Security? Probably also just inflated, right? https://nces.ed.gov/programs/coe/indicator/a01

Trying to downplay the old gun violence again? There is still this though: https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/21/us/school-shooting-us-versus-world-trnd/index.html

And those numbers only go up to 2018. This year, we have already had as many school shootings by June as during the entire year of 2018: https://www.edweek.org/leadership/school-shootings-this-year-how-many-and-where/2023/01

But yeah, I guess some people consider that 'scare tactics'. smh

I don't have that issue. I am on Android 13. What in particular is slow for you? Navigating the app itself, the search, loading the videos? Has it always been slow?

I am glad they were rescued!

What exactly are you looking for? Why not just download one of those 24+ hours white noise videos from YouTube and play those with a media player?

I don't have an answer for you for gnus, but I use isync/mbsync with mu/mu4e and there you can set it to automatically put sent messages in the sent imap folder. If you are not already invested deeply into gnus, you could consider giving mu4e a try.

Great post. I enjoyed the quiz.

I assume this is also causing the seemingly enlarged fourth ventricle?

Also, what are the treatment options? Do you have to drain this, or are there less inside remedies?

On Ubuntu you can install a Dropbox mount. It wasn't too hard, but I have moved away from it because I now use Rclone for mounting services like Dropbox, Box and Google drive (including shared drives). It is not as convenient as native sync apps on Mac (I am not familiar with Windows), but they work for me for file sharing with collaborators.

Yes, that's correct. Sorry for the confusion.
